The first BlackBerry 10 developers limited edition red Z10

BlackBerry extends a little thank you for BlackBerry 10 developers who have created applications for its platform.

In a blog post on its website today, the BlackBerry has announced it will be distributing 12,000 Limited Edition Z10 units for BlackBerry developers. However, unlike the black versions BlackBerry unveiled last week, the Limited Edition models will be available in red.

The BlackBerry Z10 comes with a 4.2-inch touchscreen and runs the business system operating the newest, gesture-based BlackBerry 10. In a research note, Jefferies analyst Peter Misek said Z10 sales have so far been "solid," adding that in some places, the Z10 is exhausted in UKBlackBerry limited edition Z10 is the company that has done well on a promise to developers before the launch of BlackBerry 10. According to a schedule on the BlackBerry website, it will take six to eight weeks for the combined red to be delivered to developers.
