The DataTraveler HyperX USB 3.0 Flash Drive Predator currently ships with
512 MB of storage. But the next generation will be released this quarter will
ramp up capacity of one terabyte, making it the largest USB drive available on
the market.
Kingston is also touting the drive as fast. With SuperSpeed USB 3.0
HyperX Predator offers transfer speeds of up to 240 MB per second for reading
data and up to 160 MB per second when writing data. And a metal housing with
zinc alloy, the player is made to be durable as well. It also comes with a five
year warranty.The reader is compatible with a variety of operating systems,
including Windows 8, Windows 7 SP1, Windows Vista with SP1 or SP2, Windows XP
SP3, Mac OS X 10.6 or higher and Linux 2.6 or higher.
"Our new DataTraveler HyperX 3.0 Predator allows users to store their
digital world on a portable hard drive USB 3.0 Flash", Andrew Ewing,
director of business flash memory Kingston, said in a statement. "High

lot of money. Kingston has not revealed the price of the 1TB model, but the
1337 edition sells for $ 512.
