Dropbox iOS updated with PDF viewer slicker

Application Dropbox for iPhone and iPad users has been updated today with some useful improvements.

Version 2.1 of the application now provides a more robust PDF viewer. You can easily access any page of the PDF by clicking on a thumbnail of the page. And a search button allows you to find any word or phrase in the file. Slide your way through the PDF is also faster and smoother, and you can easily see each page as you go through it.

You can now sort your files by modification date with the latest files emerge at the top of the list.

And finally, you can choose to receive a push notification whenever someone shares a folder with Dropbox you.

Dropbox Android app now offers the option of push notification for the shared folder prompt. But the application still does not have its own PDF viewer, forcing you to use a third party program to check your PDF files.

Dropbox iOS app is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and requires iOS 5.0 or higher. The application also supports the larger screen size of the iPhone 5.
