A conspiracy theory kind heart can shine a bright light on two of the most enduring features of humanity.

Nobody, of course, is the boundless imagination of mankind. The other is believed essential humanity of mankind.

So while you might be immersed in the explanation Bill Nye the meteorite Russian, those with darker sensibilities have filled the web with their fears and obsessions about the phenomenon.

There are few countries with a greater awareness of the dark sensibilities as Russia. The fact that there appears to be little evidence of meteorite fragments on the ground some Russians encouraged to offer their own suspicions.

As the Toronto Globe and Mail reports, nationalist leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky was quick to offer something a viewpoint Hot War.

"It is not falling meteors. This is a new weapon tested by the Americans, "he was quoted as saying.

We know from our recent experience in North Korea as weapons testing is an inexact science.

But if you were an American in the mood to test a weapon, would Chelyabinsk, Russia, to be your first choice of location for the experience?

Perhaps Tallahassee, Area 51, and Bialystok, Poland, were all unavailable due to prior commitments. Or maybe it was not the Americans, but, say, the North Koreans, who took Chelyabinsk, say, Chelsea.

Zhirinovsky is rather emotionally manipulative offer was countered by Russia's Emergency Ministry, dedicated to a complete refutation of his belief (and others) that it was a kind of military thing. Refutation? "Rubbish."

But it would not alienate local media, was it? Not only do they have papers to sell, they also have theories about a troubled country and the world.

So, as the reports of the Atlantic, the local newspaper Znak admitted that it was a meteorite but insisted the blast was caused by military defense blew it. Yes, of course, it has a source in the military. You thought it was not?

Although I have watched a few movies in which exciting things happen, I do not think it is easy to imagine that kind of missile loaded ground plane created could really explode a meteorite in such a way.

It is easier to imagine, however, that politicians like Mr. Zhirinovsky could take the opportunity to foment a little rage.

Indeed, Alex Jones site infamous guarded Infowars Zhirinovsky suggested that insisted that America - in the person of Secretary of State John Kerry -. "Attack" tried to give Russia a notice of its

The Drudge Report has led me to a piece in Foreign Policy that explained that Mr. Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, just did not call back Kerry.

This suggests that while Russia is not, after all, live in fear of an attack by the United States in particular of Chelyabinsk.

All in all, I prefer to believe now Nye. It is the science guy, after all. And guys know science scientific events when they see them.
