U.S. Cellular adds Samsung 4G Galaxy Note 10.1 to its range

U.S. cellular subscribers can now add 10.1 4G Samsung Galaxy Note tablet to their shopping lists.

As of today, the note 10.1 4G is available in retail outlets and U.S. Cellular shop operator. The tablet sells for $ 499.99 when combined with a diet with 2GB or more of data per month.

Note is the latest device to join Samsung 4G range of U.S. Cellular. The carrier is already selling the Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Equipped with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, note 10.1 is powered by a quad-core processor 1.4 GHz Exynos. It offers 16 GB of internal storage, 2GB of memory, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera on the back and a 1.9 MP camera on the ticket front.The S 10.1 includes a pen that allows users to take notes and edit documents.

Adobe Photoshop Touch and 2GB of free storage files in Adobe Creative Cloud are also part of the package. People can use the S Pen to create a work or edit photos in Photoshop Touch.

A multi-window feature displays the different applications on a single screen. The tablet also comes with Samsung Smart Remote app that allows people to control their TV with the tablet.

U.S. Cellular said its 4G LTE network covers about 61 percent of its customers in various cities across Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Carolina, the Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin. The carrier expects that number to grow to 87 per cent at the end of the year.
