The New York Times has released the Google Glass app that was demonstrated at this year's South by Southwest conference.
On a site sent to subscribers Thursday Times provides a brief introduction to the features of the app and a glass button to help homeowners glass install the application. The application is the first installable third-party application that has been made available to owners of glass.Features include alerts break news and updates news every hour, and you can browse stories and photos by tilting your head. You can also select to have the app read abstracts for you.
Neither Google nor the New York Times immediately responded to requests for comment.
