Big-name BlackBerry 10 appsavailable now (or very little)

It is not a secret that RIM is gunning for its BlackBerry operating system redesigned to take third place among mobile platforms (behind iOS and Android). To this end, the company in difficulty - including Alec Saunders, VP of Developer Relations RIM - has made a strong push to attract developers en masse. If we can not yet say if the masses are buying, we can say that, until now, BlackBerry 10 has a good head start in the app department.

About 70,000 applications are declared available for BlackBerry 10 from BlackBerry World store now. Of these, perhaps the most important titles are Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Foursquare and. These are major titles that many mobile users rely on, and without those big names, some may be wary of adopting the revised platform of RIM. In addition, I tried the applications and they look great and run smoothly.

But of course, these four are not the only ones to come downloads for BlackBerry 10. Some of the most recognizable names already available or well on their way to:

    Skype (iOS | Android)
    Rdio (iOS | Android)
    WhatsApp Messenger (iOS | Android)
    ESPN ScoreCenter (iOS | Android)
    Cisco WebEx (iOS | Android)
    Evernote (iOS | Android)
    SoundHound (iOS | Android)
The Weather Channel (iOS | Android)
    Box (iOS | Android)
    Dropbox (iOS | Android)
    Flixster (iOS | Android)
    Slacker Radio (iOS | Android)
    TuneIn Radio (iOS | Android)
    Paper camera (iOS | Android)

Moreover, even if the BlackBerry has never been known as a preferred platform for gamers, many users should be happy to know that some game developers big names are porting their applications:

    Rovio
    Disney
    EA Games
    Gameloft
    Halfbrick
    ZeptoLab
    Sega

With these developers on board, BlackBerry 10 adopters enjoy favorites like Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, Jetpack Joyride, Fruit Ninja, Modern Combat 4, Plants vs. Zombies, and more. However, conspicuously absent from the list of game developer Zynga partners is that could leave fans of the "With Friends" series of puns dissatisfied. Keep in mind, however, that this list will continue to grow.
