Now that the teams this year's Super Bowl have been decided (and who does not like a battle of brothers?) Maybe you're ready for a great new TV to enjoy the game.

For a limited time and while supplies last, TigerDirect has the Sceptre X508BV-FHD 50-inch LCD HDTV for $ 399.99 plus about $ 30 for shipping. This is after your awards, but hey, some operations require a little delayed gratification.

As might be expected the price, it is an entry-level TV. This is not particularly fine, and lack of applications and free Wi-Fi and all that (if it is easily remedied with a Roku box cheap). It has a refresh rate of 60 Hz, I'll take every day more than 120 240 Hz and the "soap opera effect" that ready.

Other key features include three HDMI inputs, a response time of 8 ms, and, of course, the 1080p resolution. Sceptre backup unit with a one year warranty.

With a TV like this, I think it's wise to scrutinize the opinions of the users. There are nearly two dozen of them TigerDirect, with an average score of 4.3 out of 5 stars. That would be good enough for me to pull the trigger if I in the market for a TV.
